How long does it take to get a NIF?

Final processing time depends on the Portuguese Tax Authority’s review and approval progress. In some cases—such as peak seasons (e.g., summer) or unforeseen administrative delays—the timeline may extend to 4–6 weeks or longer. FastNIF will do its best to accelerate the process, but cannot guarantee a specific completion date, as the final decision rests with the tax authority.

SERVICE AGREEMENT

CLIENT INFORMATION: , a national of , born on , Female, native of ,residing at [Address to be confirmed], email .

and FASTNIF CONSULTING, with headquarters at Av. Infante Dom Henrique 333H, 1 andar porta 19, 1800-257 - LISBOA, PORTUGAL, website fastnif.com, hereinafter referred to as the SERVICE PROVIDER, have mutually agreed to the following terms:

CLAUSE ONE – The purpose of this agreement is as follows:

I. Obtaining and assigning a Portuguese tax identification number – SINGLE NIF.
II. One-time service with no subscription or automatic renewal.

CLAUSE TWO – The SERVICE PROVIDER will receive €99 as a service fee, to be paid as follows: lump-sum payment.

§ first: All payments in Portugal will be made through the payment gateway provided on the SERVICE PROVIDER's website.

CLAUSE THREE – The SERVICE PROVIDER will provide the services through an online work management system, via the internet. Information, technical guidance, and message exchanges will be exclusively via the email provided by the CLIENT.

CLAUSE FOUR – The SERVICE PROVIDER shall perform its business activities with care and diligence at appropriate levels.

CLAUSE FIVE – The CLIENT agrees to provide all documents (including originals or notarized/apostilled copies) when requested. The CLIENT further agrees to inform the SERVICE PROVIDER of any change of address or email.

CLAUSE SIX – If the CLIENT withdraws, it is agreed that no refund will be made for amounts already paid.

CLAUSE SEVEN – For all legal purposes, the CLIENT and the SERVICE PROVIDER declare their acceptance of this agreement under the specific terms in which it has been drawn up.

CLAUSE EIGHT – The CLIENT authorizes the SERVICE PROVIDER to use their data and documents provided for all actions necessary to perform the service described.

CLAUSE NINE – The CLIENT declares that they have read this agreement beforehand and digitally signs it by completing the request on the SERVICE PROVIDER's website.
